The Important Role of Fungi

Fungi and bacteria are the most important role on decomposed unused materials into plant food. The form of fungi is easy to see, given their largely hidden, unseen actions and growth. They are important in an enormous variety of ways.

Recycling Process

Fungi, together with bacteria, are responsible for most of the recycling which returns dead material to the soil in a form can be used by plant. Without fungi, these recycling activities would be seriously reduced. We would effectively be lost under piles many meters of thick, of dead plant and animal remains.

Important Role of Plant Growth

Because of fungi activity, the soil become fertile and most of plants can grow fast. Without realize by farm their activity on their field depend on bacteria and fungi availability. Because of this important function, fungi and bacteria exist everywhere, in the air, soil and water and even in our body.

Fungi for Food

Mushroom are included on fungi and have been cultivated by people for foodstuff. Many mushroom are edible, cultivated and distribute all over the world, like button mushroom, shitake, and oister mushrom. Fungi also have many important role on the food and drink production. Include of some product like cheese, beer and wine, bread, cakes, and soya been product.

Not all kind of mushroom can eat, some of them are very poisonous, so we must be able to identify correctly what fungi can be eat. While a great many wild fungi are edible, it can be difficult to correctly identify them. Some mushrooms are deadly if they are eaten. Some of poisonous fungi look very bright and striking color but some others not clear.

Medicines

Many fungi also have use for drug, like antibiotic produced from fungi. Many other fungi also produce antibiotic substance which is widely used to control diseases in human and animals.
