Many kind Fungi on Plants

Mostly diseases that attack plants are causes by fungi. The kind of fungi attack other plant such as yeasts, ruts, smuts, mildews, molds, mushrooms and toadstools. The description of this kind of fungi as follows:

Rust
The diseases make plants have reddish-brown color on the steam and leaves.

Black Rot
The plant attack by this fungi have characteristic by darkening and decaying of leaves of fruit and vegetables plants.

Black Spot
The plant that attack by this fungus will produce small black spots on the leaves and their stems. This disease often attack to the plants.

Bottom Rot
This disease often found on lettuce plants. The lower plants leaves will show affected by this disease then move to upward affect to the upper parts.

Canker
This disease make the roots and bark of the plant infected. This fungus often called as cancer fungi. This disease also found on woody trees and notorious that causing damage to the bark of the trees.

Cotton Ball
This fungi is notorious that attacked to cranberry plants.

Crown Wart
This fungi attack the stem of alfalfa plants, the plant will show white protrusions at the base of the stem.

Potato Wart
This fungi usually attack potato tuber. Potato that attack by this disease will show dark, warty, spongy on the potato tubers, this is similar to crown wart in alfalfa plants.

Damping Off
This kind of fungi infection causes excessive moisture on the seed of the plant.

Dry Rot
This fungi infect to timber, bulbs, potatoes or fruits. The fungal disease causes the drying and crumbling.

Rhizoctinia Disease
This diseases also called as Pellicularia and Corticium, it is often seen to affected to small potatoes.

Root Rot
Leaves, barks and stems until the roots can be infected and make the roots decay, eventually make the plant die.

Sclerotium Rot
This disease make the formation of sclerotia.

Dutch Elm Disease
This disease spread from one plant to another through root grafts or by the elm beetles that eat by small twigs. This fungus makes affecting elms.

Pinkroot
Onion plants often attack by this fungi and make unsuitable for consumption.

Soft Rot
This fungi make slimy and mushy decay or known as soft rot.

Yellow Spot
Yellow spot on the leaves of plant as the characteristic of this disease by this fungi.

Powdery Mildews
This fungi infection shows specific that causes the host as seen on roses, lilac, English oak, zinnias.

Plant Wilting
The plant will wilt shows that infected by this fungi. The fungi itself start from the roots and then slowly make its way into the stem and plug the vascular system.

Decay
Wood will decay, normally this fungi show on wood that laying on moist environment, when it attack to the living plant will kill the plants.
