Fungi on Tomatoes

Fungi often grow in many plant, this make many agriculture fail on tomato cultivated. Tomato plant often become die before they are growing adult. Tomato that has fungus diseases often become overwhelmed by it. The tomato leaves turn to yellow, the leaves have many brown spot then turn to brown like brown paper, and crumble when touch. The stem also affected and sometime turn to brown or spoil and die.

To cure the tomatoes plant that infected by fungi usually being spray by fungicide. But fungicide often just effective use for preventive not to cure the infected plants. Other fungi diseases medicine are use copper solution or sulfur solution but sulfur can't dissolve in water, so sometime sulfur just be spread in powder form around the plants.

Other effective for preventive from fungus diseases, use a solution that mixed of one gallon of water with 3 tbs (table spoon) of backing soda, 1 tbs Epsom salt, 2 tbs non concentrated dish-washing soap. This remedy have been used for years by gardeners with great success for attacking many fungus diseases. The success depend to the severity of fungus diseases and the stage to which it has progress.

Fungi Diseases Grouping

Fungi diseases that suffer by human can divide into several groups. This groups depend on type of how this fungi infected to the human body. The dept of infection and also the place or organ where the fungi is infected our body:

• Fungi that just infected on the body surface groups into superficial mycoses are caused by fungi that grow only on the surface of the skin or hair.
• Fungi that infected to the bottom area of our body. Cutaneous mycoses or dermatomycoses include such infections as athlete's foot and ringworm, in which growth occurs only in the superficial layers of skin, nails, or hair.
• Most deep infect our body grouping as subcutaneous mycoses, fungi penetrate below the skin to involve the subcutaneous, connective, and bone tissue.
• Deeper penetrate to our body groups into systemic mycoses or deep mycoses, this fungi can infect internal organs and become widely disseminated throughout the body. This type is often fatal.

The most common type of fungi diseases worldwide is sporotrichosis, which occurs most often in gardeners and farmers who come in direct contact with soil. This is a chronic infection caused by the fungus Sporothrix schenckii, occurring in three forms. The 'cutaneous lymphatic form' is characterized by a single pustule or nodule that forms at the site of invasion. This is followed by lymphatic spread and the development of numerous subcutaneous lesions. This 'disseminated form' is marked by multiple, painless cutaneous or subcutaneous nodules, which can form into ulcers or abscesses involving the muscles, joints, bones, eyes, gastrointestinal system, mucous membranes, and nervous system. The 'pulmonary form' results from the inhalation of spores, but produces much the same forms of the disease.

Other forms of subcutaneous mycoses occur mostly in the tropics and subtropics and are caused by several fungi species. These conditions are called chromomycosis (producing wartlike nodules that can ulcerate) and maduromycosis (or mycetoma -- a chronic slowly progressive destructive infection involving several layers of skin, producing abscessing granulomas). Treatment is difficult and often requires surgical removal of the offending tissues.

Fungi Cause Disease

Fungi have 2 divide for human there is benefit fungi and bad fungi that can causes disease. There is delicious fungi and there are many poisonous fungi. Fungi are another type of infectious agent that many of us have had first hand experience with. Athlete’s foot is caused by fungi, and so is ring-worm. The fungi are many celled organisms (the mushrooms are a member of this family). Specifically, they’re a type of plant that lacks chlorophyll and must therefore obtain food from organic material, in some cases, from humans. They tend to invade areas where these is much body hair, such as the scalp and the groin.

Animal Parasites
Last are the animal parasites, these include some single celled animals (protozoa) and certain parasitic worms, which of course are many celled animals. An animal parasite is an organism that has developed the capacity to live in or in the body of another animal, known as the host. Animal parasites obtain food from the host, thus they live at the host’s expense, weakening it and causing disease. Most animal parasites have acquired a remarkable ability. They spend part of their lives in one host (a human being) and the rest of their lives in another host (which can range from a mosquito to a cow: fish are particularly common hosts). Some major tropical diseases, including amoebic dysentery and malaria, are caused by protozoan parasites. There are some worms that make their homes in humans, including pinworms, tape worms, and flukes.
